Pivoting Granting Programs and Partnerships During Covid-19
January 20, 2021
11:00 am - 12:00 pm
The pandemic has caused grantmakers to take a critical look at their often long-standing grant processes and approaches to partnerships in order to meet urgent and long-term community needs. Spurred by A Call to Action: Philanthropy’s Commitment During Covid-19, grantmakers are finding ways to provide more flexible funding, efficient processes and trust-based partnerships to help grantees move quickly to serve people hit hardest during the health and economic crisis. Team members from three northeast Wisconsin community foundations will share their experiences with pivoting a discretionary grant program to include “bridge” operational support and changing a unique funding collaborative’s regional granting approach.
