Racine Community Foundation (RCF) seeks a Controller who will be responsible for the Foundation’s accounting and financial operations. Reporting to the President, the Controller oversees financial reporting, budgeting, investment and cash management, grant and gift processing, payroll, and internal controls. The Controller works closely with the President, staff, Board of Directors, and the Finance and Investment Committees to provide accurate financial information and support sound financial oversight.
Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements and reports, leading the annual budgeting process, coordinating the annual audit and Form 990 preparation, managing relationships with auditors and investment professionals, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements. The Controller also supports the financial administration of charitable funds and grants and collaborates with donors, professional advisors, and staff to ensure accurate stewardship of gifts and distributions while maintaining strong financial systems and processes. They may be asked to assist with other office management tasks too. Pay is commensurate with experience.
