Mina Raj

Manager of Communication & Organizational Support 

Mina Raj brings a background in nonprofit communications, program leadership, and national service to her role as Manager of Communications and Organizational Support at the Wisconsin Philanthropy Network (WPN). She plays a role in developing and managing structured communication and information-sharing strategies across the organization, supporting both internal alignment and external engagement. Her work includes communications planning, content development, and event support, helping ensure WPN’s messaging reflects and strengthens the network’s mission and values.

Before joining WPN, Mina spent seven years with City Year Milwaukee, where she began her journey as an AmeriCorps member serving at Roosevelt Middle School of the Arts. She went on to lead service teams as an Impact Manager at Carver Academy, working closely with school partners to create meaningful, effective experiences for students and corps members. Most recently, she served as Senior Communications Manager, overseeing internal and external communications and storytelling efforts to highlight the power of national service.

Mina holds a Master of Arts in Professional Communication from the University of Wisconsin–Parkside and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at Geneseo. Originally from upstate New York, she moved to Milwaukee after college to serve with City Year and has called the city home ever since. Outside of work, she enjoys live music, yoga, and spending time with her family and friends.
