Green Bay, Wis – The Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay is pleased to announce the appointment of five new members to its advisory board:
- Jessica Diedrich, director of partnerships and business development, Greater Green Bay Convention & Visitors Bureau
- Kim Linehan, community volunteer
- Linda Hansen, sales and design consultant, L.P.Mooradian; co-owner, CyberWorks
- Teresa Schoffelman, senior vice president, director of corporate communications, Associated Bank
- Ann Weise, attorney, Umentum & Kimps, SC
Advisory board members who have completed their six-year terms include Gail King, Dr. Cynthia Lasecki, Aymee Balison, Betsy Mitchell, Irene Hogan and Sharon Resch. The Women’s Fund thanks these members for their service as they transition to emeritus status.
Started in 1995, the Women’s Fund advisory board is a 24-member board comprised of dynamic leaders who support the advocacy, promotion, fundraising, and grant making of the Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay. Most notably, the board has spearheaded efforts to build an endowment of more than $2.5 million dollars used to make a difference in the lives of local women and girls.
“As a fund of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, the Women’s Fund advisory board partners with the Foundation to invest and distribute essential grants to local community organizations,” said Kate Hogan, Women’s Fund president. “I am honored to welcome our new members to this powerful group of volunteers, and I know their work will further our mission to empower women and inspire girls”
The Women’s Fund to date has provided financial support to more than 80 local community initiatives and programs. These include educational and character development programs for girls, skill building initiatives for women, and support and development services for women and girls who have experienced abuse and violence.
