As the field of philanthropy becomes increasingly complex, it is essential for grantmakers to stay informed.
WPN offers its members not only information on Wisconsin issues, trends, policies, and best practices, but also on how national trends and issues play out in the state. This information is critical to our members in their role as effective Wisconsin philanthropists.
Each year, Wisconsin Philanthropy Network offers programs and events designed to support the professional development of staff and trustees of our members, and engage them in discussions about topics key to effective philanthropy.
WPN deepens member knowledge by staying current on Wisconsin issues, trends, policies and practices, and how national trends and issues play out in the state. Our resource library connects members to articles, reports and benchmarking tools to support your work as effective grantmakers.
WPN also provides free customized research services to members, including benchmarking tools, sample policies, grantmaking and management practices. In 2015, WPN’s Director of Research has completed 106 hours of research, with fifty members making 104 research requests.
