Vice President | Public Affairs
Community Partners,
As I shared with you in May, effective July 1 I officially assumed the role of Vice President of Public Affairs at Rockwell Automation. Here is a press release that was just shared externally. Going forward I will lead Rockwell’s Government Affairs, External Communications and our Global Community Relations and Contributions functions.
I'm excited to continue leading this work and impact together—my passion for our community partners continues to drive me, and I promise that investments in equity will remain a top priority. But with the new title comes more responsibility, and though my heart will always belong to our work here, I have to be intentional and focused throughout this transition.
I’d like to take a moment to formally introduce you to Ashley Johnson, since many of you have not met her yet. She is the newest member of Rockwell’s Global Community Relations & Contributions team. Ashley comes to us with a wealth of both educational and professional experience, including nonprofit. She has an exceptional understanding of what our communities are facing and has all the skills that make her great at her role. She's a wonderful listener, collaborator, problem solver and as a woman of color sees the world through a different lens. Going forward, Ashley will be taking over the management of our community partner relationships so feel free to reach out to her directly if you have questions (grants, sponsorships, memberships, payments, board members, reporting etc.). I know that you will embrace her in the same way you've done for me.
I'm not going anywhere. I will always be interested in learning about the inspirational work you lead as change makers. I will be cheering you on with social distanced high fives, and know that I will always be advocating for the change we want to see.
