Why Join?
Wisconsin Philanthropy Network (WPN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit professional membership association of philanthropic organizations. It is the only statewide association for private foundations (family, independent, and corporate), corporate giving programs, community foundations, higher education foundations, healthcare foundations, donor-advised funds, charitable trusts and individual philanthropists who together represent over $7 billion in assets and invest over $600 million annually to improve the quality of life for Wisconsin residents. WPN’s mission is to support and promote effective philanthropy though education, best practices, enhanced partnerships and leadership.
Founded in 1978, WPN has propelled effective philanthropy in Wisconsin and has become the premier resource for our members by encouraging discussion and idea-sharing, and proudly support grantmakers in their efforts to be change agents for our communities. We promote relationships between nonprofit providers and funders and disseminate current nonprofit sector trends and research.
