Dane County Funders Roundtable – July 23, 2024

July 23 at 8:30 am - 10:00 am CDT

Session Description: Leveraging Federal Dollars for Local Results

Current federal spending on climate action is more than three-times previous spending peaks. And, with the federal emphasis on equity (via the Administration’s Justice40 commitment) and on US-based manufacturing, this funding aligns with local priorities around affordable housing, public health, workforce development and equity more broadly. Governments and community-based organizations across Dane County are taking advantage of this unprecedented opportunity to use federal funds to advance local priorities. Collaboration has organically emerged as a consistent theme for this year’s Dane County Funders Roundtable. On July 23, participants will be joined by Kathy Kuntz, Director of Dane County’s Office of Energy and Climate Change to explore how grantmakers can partner with the County in leveraging these unprecedented federal funding opportunities.

Audience: This event is open to Wisconsin Philanthropy Network members located or investing in Dane County, Wisconsin.
