Session Description: Apprenticeship, pre-apprenticeship, and work-based learning are proven models for supporting economic advancement for workers, but many employers struggle to implement high-quality programs. And despite significant growth in recent years, equity gaps persist. During this session, Valerie Crespín-Trujillo, Senior Program Officer – Education Philanthropy, will highlight Ascendium’s work with Jobs for the Future to map Wisconsin’s apprenticeship ecosystem with the intention to support future partnerships and investments in apprenticeship for rural regions of the state.
