Join us for a free Facebook Live event hosted by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter James Causey that serves as a capstone event for “Milwaukee’s Promise,” a yearlong series supported through a Greater Milwaukee Foundation Fellowship in Public Service Journalism and the Marquette University O’Brien Fellowship in Public Service Journalism which explores racism and community solutions. Following a keynote by spoken word artist Kondwani Fidel, author of “The Antiracist: How to Start the Conversation About Race and Take Action,” Causey will lead a discussion about the YWCA’s educational program “Unlearning Racism."
